VIDEO: Explosions seen as industrial fire burns in Texas

An industrial fire southwest of Mansfield near Lillian sent balls of fire and plumes of smoke into the air Thursday. The fire was reported after noon along the 12500 block of Farm-to-Market Road 917, about 2.5 miles west of Business U.S. Highway 287. Several large balls of fire were seen bursting through the roof of the building in the industrial park.

Appleton's Fox Valley Technical College receives grant to train high school students in firefighting

NFPA releases overview of fatal firefighter injuries in 2023

In 2023, 89 firefighters in the United States died from traumatic injuries, heart attacks, strokes, or aneurysms while on duty or within 24 hours of duty. Two people rescued from sinking boat on Lake Como
