AQA
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources has issued an Air
Quality Advisory for the following counties in north-central,
central and far northeast Wisconsin: Florence, Forest, Langlade,
Lincoln, Marathon, Oneida, Vilas and Wood.
* WHAT...The PM2.5 AQI is expected to reach the Unhealthy level
for Sensitive Groups.
* WHERE...North-central, central and far northeast Wisconsin
* WHEN...Through noon on Tuesday
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
Heavy surface smoke will move into Wisconsin from the northwest
early this morning. Unhealthy AQI PM2.5 is forecast, with chances
to see spikes in the Very Unhealthy AQI range. A cold front will
slowly move from northwest to southeast throughout Tuesday, with
smoke impacts eventually becoming statewide. This advisory will be
updated by noon Tuesday to reflect the movement of the smoke into
southeast Wisconsin. At this time, we anticipate a statewide
advisory for PM2.5 from noon Tuesday until noon Wednesday.

spikes in the Very Unhealthy AQI range. The front will continue
to slowly move from northwest to southeast throughout the day on
Tuesday, with smoke impacts eventually becoming statewide. This
advisory will be updated by noon Tuesday to reflect the movement
of the smoke into southeast Wisconsin. At this time, we anticipate
a statewide advisory for PM2.5 from noon Tuesday until noon
Wednesday.
