PHOTOS: Video shows a wild street takeover in downtown Los Angeles coming to a fiery conclusion overnight. Preliminary information from stringer service OnSceneTV indicates the takeover occurred at the intersection of 18th and Main streets before 3 a.m. Saturday. A Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson confirmed the location and stated that upwards of 50 cars were present.

The unique way one Colorado fire department is spreading awareness of firework safety in the community

Around 3:30 a.m. on June 28, a call came into dispatch about a possible fire at an apartment in the 3200 block of East Parkside Boulevard, a release from the Appleton Fire Department stated.

Northcentral Technical College in Wausau receives $25K grant for youth firefighter training

NTC was one of four winners of the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services grant. Worksite in Madison evacuated after natural gas leak

A work site on the west side was excavated for a natural gas leak Wednesday morning, the Madison Fire Department said. Construction workers at a site near the West Towne Mall reported a leak around 8:45 a.m. after they struck a gas line while doing grading and paving work along Mineral Point Road. Ladder 2 responded, and firefighters heard gas rushing from the 2-inch pipeline and ordered all equipment within a 200-foot radius to be shut down.

Virginia fire & rescue department learns American Sign Language to bridge gaps within the community

Indiana man goes from burn victim to firefighter, crediting burn camp

Deputies in Union Grove use Fire Suppression Tool V4 to help control burning apartment
