VIDEO: A Town of Medary family is getting help from the Red Cross after a fire causes major damage their home. The La Crosse Fire Department said they were called to the home in the 4000 block of Timber Crest Drive in the Town of Medary just before midnight. Everyone in the home including pets got out safely as firefighters were en route.

Green Bay house fire on Fourth of July causes $125K in estimated damages, one displaced

A house fire on the Fourth of July in Green Bay is under investigation after causing an estimated $125,000 in damages and displacing one. According to the Green Bay Metro Fire Department, crews were sent to the 1400 block of Cedar Street for reports of a house fire around 9:50 p.m. on July 4. First arriving crews found a house fully involved with fire and made an aggressive attack to knock down the fire within five minutes of arrival.

First responders in Whittier rushed to a fire at the city’s fuel dock just before noon on Tuesday. A call to the area’s dispatch confirmed that multiple crews were called to the scene, with fire and EMT teams from Whittier, Girdwood and surrounding towns. Sprinkler system works to perfection, puts out structure fire in Menasha

PHOTOS: Crews with the Neenah-Menasha Fire Rescue (NMFR) responded to the 1800 block of Novak Drive in Menasha for a report of a structure fire on Monday. According to Assistant Chief Adam Dorn, firefighters arrived on the scene around 11:30 a.m. and found a trash pile on fire outside of the building and smoke inside the building.

Several people stuck upside down on fair ride in Crandon

VIDEO: Several people were suspended in the air after a fair ride stopped, leaving them hanging upside down for hours. Several fairgoers were on the ride "Fireball", when it suddenly stopped at the Forest County Festival in Crandon Sunday afternoon. There is no word yet on what caused the ride to pause, but Lieutenant Adam Finn of the Antigo Fire Department said he has never seen anything like this before.

VIDEO: Fire damages several homes in Phoenix neighborhood

Fire crews have gained control of a 4-alarm fire that ignited in a neighborhood near 40th Street and McDowell Road Friday afternoon. The Phoenix Fire Department said the fire started as a backyard palm tree fire that quickly spread into dense vegetation and surrounding homes. The hot embers from the fire became airborne and landed on nearby homes, alleyways and vegetation.

Zozobra to accompany New Mexico firefighters on new engine

VIDEO: Firefighting robot helps quell fire that damaged Los Angeles business

Saukville house, garage fire shut down State Highway 33 twice

Fire tore through a Saukville garage and spread to a home on State Highway 33 Friday night, June 30. The Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office was called for the fire around 10:30 p.m. A deputy arrived and saw the home's attached garage fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters knocked down and extinguished the blaze.

New Seattle fire unit focuses on electrical fires

How a Missouri zoo uses old fire hoses as furniture for animals

VIDEO/PHOTOS: The Willard Fire Department has been donating its old fire hoses to the Dickerson Park Zoo for a few years. Fire hoses are required to pass a pressure test for use. If they fail, they are used for training purposes or are disposed of. The Dickerson Park Zoo asked Willard Fire if they could have the unused fire hoses and Willard Fire said yes.
