The Woodland Fire Department is investigating a structure fire that spread to five homes and an outbuilding on Saturday near Lincoln Avenue and Elm Street. It is still unknown what caused the fire but the department said that responders were able to contain it to the homes of origin and prevent the flames from spreading.

VIDEO: State officials have expanded their efforts to protect the health of firefighters. The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality has been replacing the foam used on some fires, which has been linked to cancer. Damar Hamlin is giving the spotlight to those who helped save his life. The Buffalo Bills safety, 25, got emotional on stage at Wednesday night’s ESPY Awards as he honored the first responders who helped save his life after his cardiac arrest during a January game. At least one person was rescued Wednesday as firefighters battled a large fire that spread to multiple apartment buildings in Hollywood.
