VIDEO: A vehicle crashed into an apartment building on Green Bay’s west side on Monday afternoon.
According to the Green Bay Metro Fire Department, just after noon on Monday, firefighters were sent to the 1400 block of Western Avenue for a report of a vehicle that had crashed into a building.

Two White Settlement police officers are being called heroes after they rescued a man from a burning car in the early morning hours of Saturday, July 29.
Police said officers responded around 2:40 a.m. in the 1700 block of South Cherry Lane to a crash where a car struck a pole. The crash caused the car to catch fire, police said.

VIDEO: The North Charleston City Council voted unanimously to approve a study identifying and addressing risks for onboard ship fires at Charleston Ports.
The study is being funded by a grant received from the South Carolina Department of Veterans Affairs totaling $247,381.

The first aircraft crash happened around 9 a.m. The Winnebago Sheriff’s office received multiple calls about an airplane that crashed into Lake Winnebago.

Fond du Lac firefighters battled a fire at an apartment building on Spring Street on Sunday, July 30.
Officials tell FOX6 News the initial call for the fire cam in around 10 a.m. Sunday. It took firefighters about 45 minutes to get the fire under control. One man who was in the building at the time of the fire jumped from a second story window to escape.

Oil and gas being drained from cars caused a large fire Thursday at a salvage yard in southwest Houston, firefighters said.
This happened just before 11 a.m.
The Houston Fire Department said oil and gas were being drained from at least four cars that were getting scrapped. During that process, a fire ignited that set off a chain reaction to smaller gas tanks, tires, batteries and other car parts.

Crews were called to a two-story home in the 1400 block of North Appleton Street around 9 a.m. Thursday for a report of smoke coming from the roof.

PHOTO: The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is reporting a vehicle fire on Interstate 43 in Brown County.
According to WisDOT, the vehicle fire on I-43 northbound at East Mason Street in the City of Green Bay and happened around 6:15 p.m.
As a result, all lanes were closed while the Brown County Sheriff’s Office and the Green Bay Metro Fire Department deal with the active fire.

New video shows the explosion and impact at an apartment building in Newark that injured six people and left 31 people displaced.
There is still no word on what caused the explosion on South Pine Lane.
The building, managed by Newark Housing Authority, was all but destroyed about 6 p.m. Friday after an explosion rocked the building.
