Firefighters responded to a person who fell through the ice 100 yards from the shore of Beaver Dam Lake on Friday.
Around 4:30 p.m., Beaver Dam Fire Department units were dispatched to the lake after a bystander saw someone fall through the ice.
A firefighter wearing an ice rescue suit made their way onto the ice first and was able to reach the individual.

VIDEO: The Marinette Firefighter who was injured while trying to save several pets during a fire at a home received a hero’s welcome back.
Jason Lemire was the firefighter who had to be transported to St. Mary’s in Milwaukee for the injuries he sustained during the incident.
Authorities say that Lemire was attempting to rescue pets that were still trapped inside the home when he suffered burn injuries due to a flashover, otherwise known as an instance of a fire spreading very rapidly across a gap because of intense heat.

A fuel tanker truck crashed, exploded, and erupted in flames on Florida's Turnpike in west Boynton Beach on Friday morning, shutting down all lanes of the highway and causing major traffic backups for miles.
Palm Beach County Fire Rescue said the fiery wreck happened on the Hypoluxo Road overpass, just north of Boynton Beach Boulevard, shortly before 6 a.

VIDEO: All lanes of Highway 41 at Minter Road are open again after being closed for hours by a crash involving a Spalding County fire engine and a utility truck Thursday afternoon, according to the Georgia Department of Public Safety.

PHOTOS: A barn fire in Calumet County Thursday left one person and dozens of cattle suffering from smoke inhalation.
At 9:21 a.m., the Chilton Fire Department responded to a barn fire in the town of Charlestown at N3035 Irish Road.
When crews arrived, they observed smoke coming from all sides of the barn, with flames on the south end where the upper portion was full of hay.

It started Wednesday around 4 p.m. at a two-story, 12-unit apartment building in the 9600 block of West Hampton Avenue. Smoke from the fire could be seen a mile away.

Firefighters responded to a rowhome fire in Northeast Philadelphia on Thursday morning.
The fire started at about 8 a.m. at a home on the 6300 block of Cardiff Street.
When crews arrived, heavy smoke was pouring out of the two-story home and flames were seen at the back of the house.
Initial calls were that someone was trapped inside the home, so firefighters made entry on the second floor.

The support from the division formed back in August is visuals and infrared images from drones.

A second leak in the heating and cooling system in as many school days resulted in the brief evacuation of Neenah High School.
According to a note to parents, the refrigerant leak was from the same unit that caused Friday’s evacuation. As happened on Friday, the leak triggered the building’s fire alarm.

Arson investigators are looking into the cause of a massive fire that tore through a home in Point Loma early Tuesday, according to San Diego Fire-Rescue Deputy Chief Brian Raines.
Both San Diego Fire and San Diego Police were alerted to the fire at about 5:30 a.m. by a call reporting a burglary and a fire at the home on Liggett Drive just north of Point Loma Park.
