The fire was first reported around 1 a.m. at the Jensen Square complex, located on Jensen near Hurley.
The shopping center has multiple shops and businesses. At this time, there are no reports of injuries.

The Tennessee Senate passed a bill that would aid volunteer firefighters in the state.
Senate Bill 778 would provide volunteer firefighters with an annual payment of $600 upon completion of at least 30 hours of training.
“Our volunteer firefighters put their lives on the line and give up their time to keep our communities safe,” said Bell, a former volunteer firefighter in Tennessee.

Three years ago, an explosion rocked Wisconsin's only oil refinery in Superior, injuring three dozen people and causing a temporary evacuation of city residents. But investigators with the U.S. Chemical Safety Board have yet to release a final report on their investigation into the blast.

People from about 28 apartment units are being assisted by the Red Cross after their Merrill Park apartment building caught fire Tuesday morning.
A large apartment in the 600 block of North 31st Street caught fire around 10 a.m., fire officials say.
The American Red Cross of Wisconsin said in a statement that they are in the process of connecting residents with temporary housing and other immediate needs.

Two people were killed and another was injured in a two-vehicle crash caused at about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday when a turkey hit a car on State Hwy. 56 at Venner Hollow Road in the town of Genoa.
After the turkey hit the front of a 2007 Ford Escape, the driver lost control, skidded into the ditch and back across the center line, where it struck a 2011 Dodge pickup head-on, according to the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office.

A deck fire at a historic home in Downtown Concord kept Concord firefighters busy on Wednesday and eventually led to four alarms and — and fire crews from around the capital region assisting city firefighters.
Around 12:30 a.m., firefighters were sent to 32 Merrimack St., a four-unit building, for a report of flames seen from a deck.

Five people were displaced from their home Tuesday after a fire broke out inside a garage and spread to a house.
Green Bay firefighters responded around 4 p.m. to a fire in the 1000 block of Heyrman Street, according to a news release from the Green Bay Metro Fire Department. The garage was on fire and heavy smoke was coming from the house when firefighters arrived.

A home and barn near Janesville are total losses following a fire Monday afternoon.
A news release said the Janesville Fire Department was sent to 4829 W County Trunk A west of the city for a report of a barn/shed fire.

Firefighters didn’t worry about getting cancer when Tim Downes joined the Syracuse Fire Department in 1985.
He’d wear a helmet and other gear caked in soot, carbon and other toxic residue from fires and think nothing of it. “You were supposed to be salty,” he says.
But in 2008 Downes was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma, a cancer of the lymphatic system, part of the body’s germ fighting network.
