Firefighters battle 'fireball', heat at Procter & Gamble in Green Bay

VIDEOS: Crews responded to a fire at Procter & Gamble in Green Bay early Thursday morning. The fire started in the air handling system for two paper machines. “Fire crews were chasing fire through the duct system... when a large fireball erupted from the vent on the roof of the building,” the Green Bay Metro Fire Department reported.

Woman saved by smoke detector after fire breaks out in Oregon home

Fire crews responded to a house fire in Oregon early Wednesday morning. Oregon Fire Chief Glenn Linzmeier spoke to WKOW on the scene and said a fire was reported at about 4:55 on the 6100 block of Knollwood Drive. An elderly woman was sleeping in the home when her smoke detectors started going off.

Garage fire in Brown County causes $65k in damages, no reported injuries

No one was injured following a Tuesday afternoon fire in Brown County that resulted in an estimated $65,000 in damages. According to the Green Bay Metro Fire Department, on July 30 around 12:30 p.m., crews responded to a reported fire near the area of the 1800 block of Commercial Way in Bellevue. When crews got near the scene, dense black smoke could be seen.

Suddenly, there is a flash, and a fire breaks out within minutes, leaving the two dogs and a cat in danger. One North Carolina county's EMS debuts new medical tent at AAU Junior Olympics

Tennessee fire command truck crashes into vehicles, building after driver passes out

Fire in Appleton causes estimated $350,000 in damages

VIDEO: Authorities in Appleton say an early Wednesday morning house fire caused an estimated $350,000 in damages. According to a release from the Appleton Fire Department, crews responded at 2:49 a.m. to the 4100 block of South Woodendale Way for reports of a house on fire. Officials say the initial fire call indicated an exterior fire and upon arrival, heavy smoke was seen coming from the eaves all around the home.

New Watertown Fire Station Construction Is On Schedule

Construction on the new Watertown fire station is progressing on schedule. The facility will replace the city’s current station, which was built in 1964 and is no longer suitable for the fire department’s needs and is not cost effective to renovate. 17 firefighters in Michigan suffer 'heat-related injuries' after structure fire, sheriff's office says

Colorado fire department opens doors for 1,000 Neighborhood Gatherings Initiative

Slinger firefighter recovering following medical emergency

On July 27, 2024 at 8:48 a.m., the Slinger Fire Department was dispatched to a residential carbon monoxide alarm in the Village of Slinger. As volunteers arrived and prepared to respond to the incident, one of our firefighters experienced a severe medical emergency. Other firefighters quickly assessed the situation and initiated lifesaving efforts.

Janesville garage fire causes over $100K in damages

Everyone is safe after a fire broke out at an attached garage in Janesville but a lot of damage was left behind, according to the Janesville Fire Department. Battalion Chief Josh Uecker said the fire happened Sunday at about 7:15 p.m. in the 2600 block of Doe Court. When crews arrived, they saw smoke coming from the eaves and roof of the house.

Video of deadly Las Vegas fire shows man on fire, person jumping from window

The fire happened on Sunday night in the 3900 block of Spencer Street at the Riverbend Village Apartments near Flamingo Road. Police, fire departments in one Minnesota city closer than ever months after first responders killed in standoff

New policy in Michigan allows 1-year temporary license for EMS trainees

HB-4613 and HB-4614 stretch "temporary licenses" for medical first responders from 120 days to a year and allow them to work on ambulances as long as they're supervised.
