The Beaver Dam Fire Department responded to the northbound off ramp at Highway 151 and Madison Street after a fire in the trailer of the semi, which was hauling solid waste at the time. Two Chicago firefighters were rescued after being lured into a home and attacked by a man armed with a knife Tuesday afternoon, fire officials said. As of 8 a.m. Tuesday, the fire at Scott Recycling was still active and the Cocke County Sheriff’s Office said the building is a total loss. Dearborn and Ann Arbor have agreed to rent each other’s ambulances and other emergency vehicles on an as-needed or emergency basis.
