VIDEO: Firefighters had to clean up a fuel spill on Madison's north side Monday after a driver backed their car into a fuel pump and drove off. A large cloud of smoke billowed above Mission Bay on Monday afternoon after a building caught on fire at Campland by the Bay. The two-alarm fire began in Adventure Water Sports, a recreation rental business near the beach of the campground located at 2211 Pacific Beach Drive. A 61-year-old man is identified as the person killed in a fire at a Tomah motel earlier this month. A Cincinnati firefighter is the first woman in the history of the Cincinnati Fire Department to be certified as a bomb technician. Firefighter Nykeba Banks joins a select few as a prestigious United States Public Safety Bomb Technician, the fire department said in a news release Monday.
