Delaware: Last Kirlin firefighter retires after family serves Wilmington for over 100 years

His grandfather was also a Wilmington fireman, though he died when Kirlin was a tot. Each day, Kirlin said, was a new adventure for the men.

Milwaukee Fire Department responds to house fire, no injuries

VIDEO/PHOTOS: Firefighters on Wednesday morning, Feb. 7, responded to the scene of a vacant house fire near 15th and Lincoln in Milwaukee. Crews responded to the scene around 6:15 a.m. The Milwaukee Fire Department tells FOX6 News the house is boarded up and condemned by the city, which means they can’t fight the fire inside, only from the exterior.

2 shooting victims seeking help crash into Alabama fire station; 1 dies at hospital

Two shooting victims - a male and a female - were rushed to the hospital after they hit a Birmingham fire station while they were seeking help. One of the victims, the male, was pronounced a short time later at UAB Hospital. In what police called a “chaotic scene,” the ordeal began about 6:40 p.m. when gunfire erupted at the Shell station on the corner of Old Springville Road and Brewster Road.

Forest Service burn boss indicted for reckless burning in Oregon

A Grant County grand jury has indicted U.S. Forest Service burn boss Ricky Snodgrass on a Class A misdemeanor count of reckless burning. Grant County Sheriff Todd McKinley arrested Snodgrass on Oct. 19, 2022, while the fire he was supervising was still burning. It is believed to be the first time a Forest Service firefighter has been arrested in the course of doing their job.

Failed Light Fixture Causes Fire At Waupun’s Prairie Ridge Assisted Living

Public Safety Women from Around Oklahoma to Gather for Symposium

77th anniversary of Woolen Mills fire in West Bend

DNR raising concern over possible spike in wildfires this spring in Wisconsin

Town of Oneida Volunteer Fire Department Has a Shortage of Firefighters
