Barn catches fire near Racine County highway

Firefighters are investigating what caused a barn to catch fire near Interstate 94 and Seven Mile Road. It started just before 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Raymond Fire and Rescue units arrived at the scene to find a small shed at the rear of the property fully involved in fire and extending to a pole barn.

Town of Beloit fire station to be rebuilt by 2024

The demolition and reconstruction of the Town of Beloit Fire Station 2 is expected to be complete by the fall of 2024, according to township officials. “We are currently planning for the old Fire Station 2 to be demolished in September 2023 with the new station substantially completed in September 2024,” said Tim Wellnitz, Town of Beloit Administrator.

Central Pennsylvania firefighters train with military helicopters

Workers evacuated roof during fire on East Washington in Madison

Workers evacuated off the roof of a building when a structure fire started on East Washington Wednesday night. Five workers were able to evacuate the roof of the Research Products building at the corner of Brearly and Main St. around 6:15 p.m., the Madison Fire Department said. The workers were able to self-evacuate to an adjacent building.

Oneida County receives fire suppression device

The Oneida County Sheriff's Department is the latest to get some new firefighting technology. The Rhinelander Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons donated the department a fire suppression device, which law enforcement can use if they get on scene of a fire before fire crews do. It works by pulling a pin, throwing it into an enclosed space engulfed in flames, and it snuffs out the fire within minutes.

La Crosse Fire Department hosts their annual 'Fill The Boot' fundraiser

The firefighters stood on the corners of 4th and La Crosse Street collection donations for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Mississippi fire crews spend hours trying to douse fire after blaze erupts at old, abandoned warehouse building

Mosinee Fire, EMS Recieves State Grant Funding

Governor Tony Evers toured the state on Tuesday announcing nearly $32 million in grant funding to over 440 EMS districts to help with staffing and equipment needs. Waukesha woman dead, struck by SUV while trying to cross I-94

One person is dead after a crash on Interstate-94 near Pewaukee on Monday evening, Sept. 19. A news release from the Wisconsin State Patrol says around 8 p.m. Monday, a trooper was dispatched to a single vehicle versus pedestrian fatality crash. Several units with the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department, City of Pewaukee Police Department, and City of Pewaukee Fire Department were also on scene to assist.
