A local hockey team dedicated their rival game to first responders. RWD High School Hockey held their first ever Hometown Heroes game against Baraboo Thursday. RWD head coach Neil Mattson saw a similar tribute at last year's state hockey tournament and wanted to do the same for first responders in Reedsburg, Wisconsin Dells and Mauston.

Crews with Osceola Fire and Rescue, Dresser, Garfield, Alden and Shafer responded to a fire Wednesday night at Red Bird Music Store downtown Osceola at 211 N. Cascade Street. Multiple school buses caught fire at a lot on Thursday afternoon, sending thick, black smoke around the Northwest Dallas area. Crews battled the fire at a lot near Interstate 35E and Manana Drive. It's unclear what led to the fire. Dallas Fire-Rescue (DFR) said it responded around 3:30 p.m. after receiving calls about a tractor on fire and that other tractors were around it.

Three people were taken to a hospital during an ammonia leak at a business in Green Bay. At about 1:15 a.m., the Green Bay Metro Fire Department was called to TNT Crust at 508 Elizabeth Street. Crews found a “substantial leak” in the ammonia coolant system, according to the department. Employees were evacuated.

The Madison Fire Department says it was called to East High School Thursday morning for a gas leak while students were briefly held outside of the building as a precaution. Firefighters were called to the school just before 8 a.m. for a report of a natural gas leak. The fire department says a large piece of concrete broke apart during demolition work in the school and hit a gas line in the school’s boiler room, breaking the line.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is now offering up to $25,000 to anyone who has information that could lead to the arrest and conviction of whoever was behind the arson at a Madison anti-abortion group’s executive office, which happened on Mother’s Day last year. VIDEO: A former firefighter who was badly burned on the job is turning his pain into purpose. Jake LaFerriere helped set up a first-of-its kind facility for families facing the same struggles. It was in 2010 when LaFerriere's life changed forever when he was on duty as a Minneapolis firefighter. "I was on fire and I jumped from the third floor, and by the grace of God I survived this experience because there was a porch overhand down here that caught me," LaFerriere said.
