A fire reignited at the Shell Deer Park Chemical Plant, several hours after it was extinguished on Saturday. According to the Deer Park Office of Emergency Management, the fire has rekindled and firefighters are back putting it out. The fire was still burning on Sunday. The city of Deer Park said officials have gone over their wastewater storage capacity because they are using a large amount of water on the fire.

A massive three-alarm fire engulfed an industrial warehouse in Commerce Friday, sending thick smoke into the air and destroying what is believed to be a plastic manufacturing plant. The Georgetown Fire Department is now the first in Kentucky to offer a specific type of cancer screening test to its firefighters.
