At 2:30 a.m., the fire department responded to a minor electrical fire at the Hilton Garden Inn near Howell Avenue and College Avenue. The hotel was evacuated, and no one was injured.
Then, at 3 a.m., they responded to 34th Street and Highland Avenue for a garage fire.
