Phoenix fire officials tell Arizona’s Family that crews were called out to 13th Avenue and Roosevelt Street just after midnight. When firefighters arrived, they found massive flames and large plumes of smoke billowing from a warehouse in the area.

Today marks one year since the massive fire on Morton Avenue tore through a warehouse in the early morning of October 17, 2022. That fire burned across the block the entire morning, and smoldered for the next few days. Frank Granados was training with the Tucson Fire Department when a new firefighting product was introduced at the site.
