Phoenix firefighters battled a massive third-alarm blaze in at a warehouse early Wednesday morning.
Phoenix fire officials tell Arizona’s Family that crews were called out to 13th Avenue and Roosevelt Street just after midnight. When firefighters arrived, they found massive flames and large plumes of smoke billowing from a warehouse in the area.

VIDEO: Bed sheets were about to catch fire on their own early Saturday morning just as firefighters arrived at a Madison business, according to the fire department.
The bundle of sheets had started spontaneously combusting around 2:15 a.m. when firefighters responded to an active alarm at the business, in the 600 block of Grand Canyon Drive, the fire department said in a statement.

Today marks one year since the massive fire on Morton Avenue tore through a warehouse in the early morning of October 17, 2022.
That fire burned across the block the entire morning, and smoldered for the next few days.
The Evansville Fire Department was called to the scene and spent several days there before that fire was completely out.

Frank Granados was training with the Tucson Fire Department when a new firefighting product was introduced at the site. After igniting a pool of JP-4 jet fuel, the crew deployed the product, a type of foam, and extinguished the fire in about 40 seconds, nearly twice as fast as anything they’d used before.

The Pine Lake Fire Department received some new equipment earlier this week. Thanks to two grants worth up to $3,000 they were able to receive a new AED.

Milwaukee will have a new fire station in 2024.
Fire Chief Aaron Lipski announced late Friday afternoon that he intends to reopen Engine 17 at 4653 S. 13th St. The announcement comes as the city debates its 2024 budget.
Under the proposed city budget, the budget for the Milwaukee Fire Department (MFD), would increase by $14.

PHOTOS: An outside fire has been reported in a railroad yard in central Bakersfield on Sunday near California Avenue and Elm Street.
According to reports, the outside fire is burning in a train yard west of Bakersfield High School. Black smoke was reported to have been seen in the area. Bakersfield and Kern County fire crews are currently on scene assessing the blaze.

The chief, from Goldsboro, North Carolina, told WNCT that he wanted to build and maintain the vehicle so that it could be used in funeral processions.
