Fire department in North Carolina begins transition to new state-of-the-art safety station

VIDEO/PHOTOS: Asheville Fire Department firefighters began the transition to the new Broadway Public Safety Station on Thursday, Nov. 2, the day after the new facility received its official certificate of occupancy on Wednesday. The state-of-the-art facility located along Broadway Street in the Five Points neighborhood, will be home to Fire Station 13, a police substation, the relocated Emergency Operations Center and a small community conference room.

Georgia firefighter charged with DUI in accident that killed coworker in June

Lithium battery causes fire call to De Pere Middle School

Firefighters responded for smoke coming from a device in De Pere Middle School’s computer lab Tuesday morning. The school district sent a letter to parents explaining a lithium battery malfunctioned. Toyota recalls nearly 1.9 million RAV4 SUVs in the U.S. over fire risk

3 injured in Merrill house fire

Deputies investigate after Comstock Township firefighter’s gear stolen
