A massive fire burned through the abandoned Uplands Mansion in west Baltimore.

VIDEO/PHOTOS: A special screening was held Monday night to celebrate Tulsa firefighters who are starring in Killers of the Flower Moon. The Tulsa fire union organized the showing, which is helping to raise money for the Osage Nation foundation.

Longtime Washingtonians will remember the major impacts that occurred 11 years ago with Hurricane Sandy. It set several records in the nation’s capital and ranks as one of the costliest natural disasters in U.S. history.
Sandy was the strongest hurricane of the 2012 hurricane season as a Category 3 storm with sustained winds of 115 mph and a minimum central air pressure of 940 millibars.

According to the Onalaska Fire Chief Pete Fletty, the fire started shortly after noon and appeared to have started in the garage.

PHOTOS: A Cottage Grove firefighter died after a motorcycle crash in Madison over the weekend, according to the Cottage Grove Fire Department.
The Dane County Medical Examiner confirmed Monday the man who died in the crash was 20-year-old Gavin Wendricks.
Wendricks died after being hurt in a motorcycle crash on I-39/90 Saturday afternoon.

New helmet camera footage obtained by FOX 25 shows a closer look at the battle firefighters had to face during a deadly apartment complex fire October 20 in northwest Oklahoma City.

Several off-duty firefighters rushed to the aid of the driver of a tanker truck who was involved in a fiery rollover crash, leading to hours-long lane closures and massive traffic backups along Interstate 595 in Davie.
All westbound lanes were shut down near Nob Hill Road after the tanker rolled over and caught on fire, Thursday afternoon.

Several Memphis fire stations are home to new engines, albeit on a much smaller scale.
Fire Replicas, a company that makes high end fire truck models for the largest departments all over the country, created several to represent the Memphis Fire Department (MFD).
Four models can be found on Fire Replicas website, including a University of Memphis engine themed in Memphis Tigers colors.

The Auburn Fire Chief says they often get thank you cards and the occasional donation, but nothing has ever been so large that it will help for years to come. A few months ago, the chief got the surprise of a lifetime when a former patient donated $500,000.

VIDEO: Making their community safer, that’s one goal for the Town of Beloit as they rebuild a new fire station and town hall.
The Town of Beloit Board approved the $7.6 million project and plans to start demolition on the old Fire Station 2 within the next few weeks. Then, according to Town of Beloit Administrator Tim Wellnitz, the town will replace the old building with a bigger and better station.
