Three mobile homes damaged in Chippewa County fire

Three mobile homes are damaged - two a total loss - following a fire in Chippewa County Thursday. The fire broke out around 3:30 p.m. at the Cindy Lake Mobile Home Park on Stillson Road in the Town of Lafayette. The Chippewa Fire District says the fire started in one home, then spread to two adjacent homes.

Ambulances idle because of 'dire' Port Washington EMT shortage

For nine hours on Monday, the Port Washington ambulance service didn’t have enough emergency medical technicians to staff its ambulance, Fire Chief Mark Mitchell told the Police and Fire Commission Monday. FDNY EMTS, medics and firefighters getting new heavy duty masks to fight COVID

The FDNY will be ditching its disposable protective coronavirus masks for reusable ones, officials said Tuesday. Town of Winchester Fire Department looks to the community to help buy equipment

$5K reward offered by ATF to find suspects involved in Milwaukee arson

It's been 11 months since a building on Martin Luther King and Wright Street was heavily damaged by an arson fire. There's now a reward of up to $5,000 for information about two suspects. The building housed a Metro PCS store and a hair salon. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) Milwaukee Field Office and the Milwaukee, Wisconsin Police Department released video showing the suspects they're looking for.
