Fire departments from all over Marathon Co. participated in fire training Saturday.
The training took place in Hamburg. It’s the first division-wide drill the Hamburg’s Department has conducted. Firefighters were going through water movement training where they test to make sure all department resources are running correctly.

Firefighters on Thursday night, Aug. 12 responded to the scene of a house fire on Oak Park Court near Main Street in Milwaukee. The call came in around 10:45 p.m.
One civilian and one firefighter were transported to the hospital. The firefighter suffered non-life threatening injuries. The condition and age of the civilian are unknown.

VIDEO: An investigation is underway after a commercial building in Panorama City caught fire early Friday morning.
The fire was reported shortly after midnight as flames engulfed the single-story building in the 14600 block of West Titus Street.
The building appeared to house a packing company business.

A firefighter with the Osceola County Fire Rescue is in the hospital after being struck in the head with an ax while caring for a patient, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office said.
Personnel from Station 62 were dispatched to a home in Kissimmee Wednesday after receiving a call of a woman having trouble breathing, according to a news release.

A Prince George's County home was evacuated Thursday morning after a fire during the early morning hours.
The fire was reported around 5:45 a.m. in the 12000 block of Aspenwood Lane in the Laurel area.
Officials say the fire has extended through roof of the home and that the house has been evacuated.

PHOTOS: The original Bellport Fire House was built in 1893 on South Country Road. In 1937, it was moved to the rear lot facing Woodruff Street to make way for the new updated building. By 1975, when it was time to expand, the building was either to be demolished or moved.
Luckily, for the history buffs, the fire department was able to have it moved to a leveled lot in the historic district of the village on Bell Street, the former site of a historical barn, which had been moved to the Bellport Brookhaven Historical Society property just across the way.

The Waushara County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal house fire.
The Sheriff's Office said its 911 dispatch center received multiple calls of a structure fire at around 8:23 a.m. Wednesday. The fire was located at N1571 27th Ln, in the Town of Warren.
Multiple fire departments responded to the scene to assist the Redgranite Fire Department with extinguishing the fire.

The fire was reported around noon in the 700 block of Oak Street on the city’s north side, police said. There was no one in the building at the time.
Fire Chief Daryl Rausch said at a press conference Tuesday evening that some firefighters suffered injuries due to the heat and were treated at the scene or taken to a local hospital.

Firefighters on Tuesday night, Aug. 10 responded to the scene of a house fire near Hartford and Marietta. The call came in around 9:15 p.m.
When crews arrived, they found the fire on the first and second floors. The fire was pgraded to a 2nd alarm within minutes.
The fire was contained to the structure and did not spread.

A vehicle was nearly unrecognizable after it caught fire on I-94 in Jackson County.
According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, on August 11 around 4:45 a.m. the driver of the truck pulled over after he noticed smoke coming from the engine compartment. The right lane on I-94 was reportedly closed while crews worked to put out the fire.
