A child and mother are being treated for injuries they suffered in a house fire. It happened just after 9 a.m. Wednesday near South 5th and West Madison streets in Milwaukee. Firefighters on Tuesday, Jan. 25 responded to the scene of a shed fire in Washington County. A quick response limits the time Onalaska firefighters spent battling the elements and a fire at a duplex Tuesday evening. One person suffered minor injuries in a house fire in Sun Prairie Tuesday evening, the city’s fire department said. A member of Dale Fire & Rescue has died from COVID-19. Firefighter/Driver Operator Raymond Samson was 55. He passed away Saturday, Jan. 22. One person died Monday after a trailer fire in Wood County. Fire crews responded around 3 p.m. to a trailer on Frey Court that had thick, black smoke coming out of it, according the Marshfield Fire and Rescue Department.
