A young child needed to be the one who went to get help late Sunday morning after a crash left the driver pinned inside a vehicle.
According to the Madison Fire Department, the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed when it went through a fence near the S. Stoughton Road and Pflaum Road intersection and crashed into a large garage.

Two people have been displaced after a house fire in Appleton early Monday.
At about 1 a.m., the Appleton Fire Department responded to a house fire in the 200 block of E. Wentworth Lane.
Flames were coming from the back of the home. Crews attacked the fire from outside while others searched the home.

One local fire department kicked off Fire Prevention Week with a brand new engine.
The Westby-Christiana Fire Department debuted its 2022 Rosenbauer Commander Engine today at its open house. This engine was purchased by the department, and replaces one from 1992. It seats eight people, can hold 2,500 gallons of water and can pump up to 1,500 gallons per minute.

Reid Berger, a longtime member of the Baldwin community as the United Fire and Rescue District Chief and a physician’s assistant, passed away Sept. 30 at the age of 72 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital.

The Osseo Fire Department said that the fire happened Wednesday evening at a home on 9th Street.

Crews say 80 people will be displaced after huge apartment fire broke out in north Phoenix on Thursday evening. The flames broke out around 7 p.m. at a complex near Cave Creek Road and Cinnabar Avenue, north of Dunlap Avenue. One man had minor burns, firefighters said.
