An overnight fire may in Brooklyn may have been caused by a lithium-ion battery. It left two people injured. The fire broke out on Goodwin Place in Bushwick just after 1:30 a.m. A 3-story attached home was filled with flames. The fire moved through all the floors, according to the FDNY. 138 firefighters were at the scene.

After 123 Years, New Mexico Fire Department Finally Has A Female Fire Chief

Fire Chief Gene Gallegos is retiring after serving as a firefighter for Albuquerque Fire Rescue since 2000. Mayor Keller has appointed First Deputy Chief of Emergency Services, Emily Jaramillo, as the next Chief for AFR. Emily Jaramillo will be the first woman to lead the state’s largest Fire Rescue in its 123 year history.

Edward Dalasandro, 25, of Philadelphia was arrested Sunday night after the Martin County Sheriff's Office said he vandalized a fire station and assaulted a firefighter with a meat cleaver.

For the love of volunteering: Couples fight fires together in one Pennsylvania county

Crash knocks over truck carrying 41 cows near Green Bay

A cattle hauler carrying 41 cows fell onto its side after a crash just outside Green Bay Monday morning. The crash involved the cattle hauler and a personal vehicle at Lime Kiln and Verlin roads at about 6:45 a.m., near the JBS plant. The Green Bay Metro Fire Department says it arrived to find the tractor-trailer overturned and blocking the intersection, and a power pole struck.

Fire Causes Minor Damage to South Side Sheboygan Home

Seattle-Tacoma International Airport’s legacy of PFAS chemicals: ‘foam showers,’ sick firefighters and contaminated water

In the 1980s, rookie firefighters at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport endured a hazing ritual known as the “foam shower.” Recruits stood some 150 feet down the tarmac with 5-gallon buckets and were told to catch firefighting foam shot out of a crash-response truck’s water cannon. Family had to evacuate after kitchen fire in DePere

On February 12, 2023, at approximately 5:30 pm., De Pere Fire Rescue Department units were dispatched to 903 Jordan Road in the City of De Pere for a report of a structure fire. At that address is a single family residence. Upon arrival fire crews found a working fire in the kitchen. Crews made entry and quickly extinguished the fire that started on the stove and extended to the kitchen cabinets.

Garage engulfed in flames, home damaged near Portage
