House fire in Mount Pleasant injures 3 people, kills 4 pets

Three people suffered minor injuries in a house fire in Mount Pleasant early on Monday, December 19th. Firefighters were dispatched to the home on Lawndale around 2:15 a.m. — and arrived to find the house fully engulfed. Everyone inside the home managed to get out of the building. South Shore Fire Department provided emergency medical care to the three occupants.

Town of Darien and village disagree on fire and EMS services

Officials in the town of Darien staked out their positions on the future of the joint EMS department it shares with the village of Darien during a town board meeting Tuesday night. Retired New Jersey fire chief dies after responding to blaze

Pennsylvania fire training facility catches fire

PHOTO - After firefighters completed a controlled burn training session and left the area, the facility went up in flames. Smoke and flames engulfed the Crawford Venango Fire School at the corner of Ridge Road and Center Street in Cambridge Springs. The building caught fire around 3 p.m. This is a facility where firefighters hold training sessions with live fires mimicking realistic situations.

Missouri Ladder Truck Totaled in Crash, Two Firefighters Injured

PHOTO - Two firefighters were injured and a Sunrise Fire truck was totaled when the truck crashed on slick roads Friday morning. The crash occurred on State Road MM, and Sunrise Fire Chief Dennis Reilly said the two firefighters sustained only minor injuries, with the most serious being a fracture. Red Cross helping victims of fire in southern Door County

Fall Creek couple trapped in silo for hours, Sunday

Dozens of sheep die in early morning fire in Town of Chase

The Pulaski Tri-County Fire Department was called out for an early morning fire that killed dozens of animals. Fire chief James Styczynski tells Local Five the fire was called in around 5:30 Sunday morning at a farmette in the Town of Chase. The fire was in a pole shed containing equipment and animals.

Fire damages vacant home near 18th & Wright in Milwaukee

Firefighters on Friday morning, December 16th responded to the scene of a house fire near 18th and Wright in Milwaukee. Fire officials say the blaze appears to have started in the basement of a vacant home. No injuries were sustained as a result of the fire. Kansas City firefighters injured after being trapped in burning house

Two Kansas City firefighters were taken to the hospital and treated at the scene after being trapped while battling a house fire. It happened while firefighters were responding to a house fire in the 700 block of Agnes Avenue. Officials say fire crews were at the tail-end of fighting the fire when a partial roof collapse happened, leaving three firefighters trapped inside the home with burning debris on them.
