Three people suffered minor injuries in a house fire in Mount Pleasant early on Monday, December 19th. Firefighters were dispatched to the home on Lawndale around 2:15 a.m. — and arrived to find the house fully engulfed. Everyone inside the home managed to get out of the building. South Shore Fire Department provided emergency medical care to the three occupants.

PHOTO - Two firefighters were injured and a Sunrise Fire truck was totaled when the truck crashed on slick roads Friday morning.
