California: Residents were hosting Super Bowl party when small plane crashed into home

VIDEO: Witnesses say the residents of one of the homes set ablaze in the plane crash in Yorba Linda were hosting a Super Bowl party at the time of the fatal wreck. The small plane lifted off from Fullerton Municipal Airport shortly after 1:30 p.m. Sunday. Authorities said the pilot flew the 1981 twin-engine Cessna 414A about 10 miles before he encountered some sort of mid-air issue.

Texas Firefighters’ Frustrations With Problem-Plagued Payroll System Boil Over

IAFC Fire and EMS National Emergency Safety and Survival Alert

Firefighters Win Legal Victory in New York

Man hospitalized with severe burns after Green Bay house fire

A man suffered severe burns and six have been displaced from their home after a fire broke out in a Green Bay home Sunday night. The fire broke out just after 5:50 p.m. in the 500 block of Pine Terrace, according to a press release from the Green Bay Metro Fire Department. When crews arrived at the scene, they said heavy fire was coming from the rear of the home on the second floor.

Significant damage: Firefighters hampered by lack of water while battling fire in Greendale

PHOTO: Firefighters in Greendale on Thursday afternoon, Jan. 31 responded to a fire at a home on Greenmeadow Lane, southeast of 92nd and Grange. Fire officials said it was called in as a fireplace fire, and found to be a chimney fire that spread to the outside of the home and to the home’s attic area.
