At least 13 shots were fired into the Ona Volunteer Fire Department building, damaging three trucks, Cabell County Sheriff Chuck Zerkle said Tuesday. The sheriff said someone shot through the station’s garage doors, hitting three truck’s radiators and transmission lines. As a result, two of the trucks will be out of service.

A man is facing criminal charges, accused of taking a fire chief's all-terrain vehicle during a festival in Big Bend. Officers with the Madison Police Department are investigating a house fire Monday night as a possible arson. A fire that the Black River Falls Fire Department believes is "suspicious in nature" likely destroyed a garage Monday in Jackson County. A Janesville home damaged by fire months ago caught on fire again early Sunday morning. The home is located at 121 South Academy Drive, according to a release by the Janesville Fire Department. The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that left two people dead early Sunday morning on Sprague Road, west of state Route 252. According to officials, 31-year-old Keith Liedtke, of Columbia Station, was driving a 2007 Pontiac G5 in the eastbound lane of Sprague Road. After recently going solar, an Ann Arbor fire station is set to undergo interior renovations. City Council has OK’d a $208,400 contract with Allied Building Service Co. of Detroit for upgrades to Station 6 next to Briarwood Mall, including adding gender-neutral facilities. Madison Fire Chief Steve Davis confirmed two firefighters suffered minor injuries in two fires on the east side of Madison on Saturday night.
