Attorney: Gardner emergency responders not licensed, not insured

Emergency medical response in the Door County Town of Gardner is undergoing a makeover in the wake of a report from the town's attorney that revealed the town's responders group was not licensed and not insured. A four-page letter by attorney Randy Nesbitt dated Nov. 15 said the entity known as the Gardner Emergency Medical Responders Inc.

Good Samaritan saves woman from burning Rock County home

VIDEO: A Good Samaritan said he was just in the right place at the right time after he saved his neighbor from a burning home in a Rock Co. township. Korey Statton said he was outside finishing chores at his home in Hanover when he heard a woman calling for help across the street. "I saw the glow coming from the back of the house, and then I heard the lady yelling for help," Statton said.

Careless use of smoking materials causes fire in Fond du Lac, no one injured

Firefighters on Monday morning, Dec. 17 were called out to a residence on S. Marr Street in Fond du Lac for reports of a mattress on fire. The call came in around 5:50 a.m. Careless use of smoking materials sparks mattress fire in Fond du Lac, no one injured. Upon arrival, fire crews entered a a two story, wood framed residence and extinguished the fire before it was able to spread.

Former Indiana chief sues department over back OT pay

4 treated for smoke inhalation after house fire in Brookfield, cause under investigation

Ceiling collapses on Green Bay firefighters during duplex fire

Baltimore County fire chief to retire
