Five people are displaced after an apartment fire Sunday morning in Janesville. The Janesville Fire Department were called to a two-story, four-unit apartment building in the 100 block of South High St. at 11:43 a.m. for reports of smoke and fire in the building, according to a release. A 59-year-old Marshall man has been arrested on tentative charges of first-degree intentional homicide in connection with the disappearance of a 21-year-old Sun Prairie man. A New London teenager is safe following a frigid after school experience. Avery Eplett, 17, of New London, had intended to take his first ever snowmobile ride on the Wolf River Monday, Jan. 15, when his snowmobile suddenly dropped through the ice at the Riverside Park Boat Launch in New London.
