Flames engulfed firefighters as they tried saving 3-year-old, Mississippi chief says

VIDEO: Home explodes in Missouri – No injuries reported

A home exploded on Millers Court Tuesday afternoon in O’Fallon, Missouri. The St. Charles Ambulance District says that there are no injuries. City council confirms appointment of first woman to serve as chief in California fire department's 136-year history

The Los Angeles City Council voted Tuesday to confirm the appointment of Deputy Chief Kristin Crowley who will become the first woman to lead the Los Angeles Fire Department. The appointment would be effective March 26, when Chief Ralph Terrazas is scheduled to retire. Colorado fire department debuts new emergency response system for 911 calls

As of Tuesday, some Colorado Springs residents may hear something different when they call 911. Small wheels for quick responses to Mardi Gras emergencies in Alabama
