Firefighters battled a house fire in the Town of Sheboygan on Monday afternoon. Firefighters responding to the structure fire at approximately 11 a.m. on Monday saw smoke billowing from the home. Fire broke out in an upper unit of a two-level residence in the Uptown area of the city late Sunday. Firefighters were called to the scene at 9:45 p.m. for the fire at 2106 61st St., where smoke and flames could be seen emanating from the top of the building. A townhome in the 500 block of Sutherland Court was the scene of a structure fire in the early morning hours of Oct. 16. Strong lightning and thunder traveled through the area before the 2 a.m. call to Oconomowoc Fire Department.
