Security footage shows moments before Phoenix apartment fire destroys 4 homes, 6 cars

VIDEO: An early morning apartment fire has displaced six people and destroyed five to six cars in Phoenix, the city's police department said. Phoenix and Glendale firefighters responded to the scene near 12th St & Maryland Friday morning, the department said. Heavy fire was coming from a single-story apartment when crews arrived.

Fire Takes Toll On Firefighters In New York; Three Receive Narcan

Ten firefighters were transported to the hospital, three of whom were administered naloxone, after becoming ill while at the scene of a house fire Wednesday afternoon on Webster Road in the town of Portland. All of the first responders have since been released and are recovering at home, Portland Fire Chief David McIntyre said.

Fireboat 'Tommy' finds new home at the Fire Museum of Maryland

Surviving firefighter of deadly Maryland building collapse honors his fallen colleagues

Three workers rescued in South Boston construction site collapse

VIDEO: Three workers were injured in a collapse at a construction site in South Boston. Boston Fire Commissioner Jack Dempsey said emergency crews were called to the Edison Power Plant building around 1:40 p.m. Two of the injured workers were able to be removed immediately. A third person was trapped, prompting a rescue operation with about 100 firefighters in support roles, Dempsey said.

Florida scrapyard fire sends smoke billowing into sky, shuts down part of road

VIDEO/PHOTOS: Firefighters were called to a scrapyard fire in Tampa that sent heavy plumes of smoke into the sky on Tuesday evening. Tampa Fire Rescue were called to Worldwide Scrap Metals on North Lois Avenue to what they said was a “fully-involved” scrapyard fire. Tampa Fire said they got help from workers at the scrapyard, who used their excavator to move the piles around to allow firefighters to attack hotspots.

Study led by Louisiana State University Health shows firefighters more at risk for dangerous heart condition

Firefighters Respond To 4-Alarm Blaze, Partial Collapse In Maryland

27 different agencies respond to large fire at New Hampshire resort
